Administration/Program Focus: “Launching New Dimensions of Service”: 1) Educational Enrichment, 2) Health Promotion, 3) Family Strengthening, 4) Environmental Ownership and 5) Global Impact Signature program: ASCEND Youth Enrichment Program served more than 40,000 students. Donated 1 million backpacks, increased focus on Sisterly Relations, Renovation of the Corporate Office.

Dr. Earnestine Green McNealey
International Assistant Secretary, Editor-in-Chief, Ivy Leaf, and 3rd Executive Director
An award-winning researcher and author of the sixth edition of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s History in 2006, the seventh edition in 2010, and most recently in 2017 “Priceless Pearls Dimensions of Sisterhood and Service in Alpha Kappa Alpha.” Soror McNealey has served in various distinguished capacities through the years, possibly most noted as International Historian 2014 –2018. Not only has she chronicled the story of Alpha Kappa Alpha, but she has also published the renowned Black Women in America.

The first African American Woman to receive a master of science in zoology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Sharon Brown Harriott
18th Regional Director (Columbia, SC) - 2014 -2018
During the administration of the 18th South Atlantic Regional Director Sharon Brown Harriott had one of the largest regional conferences in Alpha Kappa Alpha’s history, over 5000 conference attendees were hosted. Additionally, ten (10) chapters were chartered and the South Atlantic Region became the first region to raise One Million dollars for the Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) during a four-year period.
